PM's visit to france displayed a strong friendship!!!


Prime minister Narendra Modi's visit to europe ended on 4 May, but bilateral talks between india and france have been the most discussed during this visit. PM Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron's visit happened at a time when india is neutral between the Russia-Ukraine war and france stands in support of Ukraine. In such a situation, the warm meeting of the two heads of state has indicated the strength of India's relations with France.


PM Modi told Macron a friend

After landing in paris, PM Modi met Macron on Wednesday, and in the midst of a fierce war between russia and Ukraine, the two countries have discussed keeping their interests paramount, including further strengthening their bilateral ties. Sharing a picture of both the leaders hugging, the Prime Minister's office posted, "PM narendra modi and President Emmanuel Macron have met in Paris. This meeting will give impetus to Indo-French friendship."


PM Modi was on a three-nation tour

PM Modi, who arrived in paris from denmark on the last leg of his europe tour of three countries, has met Macron. Diplomatic sources said that PM Modi's meeting with Macron a few days after the election victory is highly symbolic. He said this sends a powerful signal that the two leaders want the Indo-French partnership to be the guiding principle of their foreign policy for years to come.

It is worth noting that earlier PM Modi had met PM Marine sana during his visit to Finland. In this meeting, issues like trade, investment, and technology were discussed in detail and there was an emphasis on further strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
