Gift of a smartphone tablet
In the budget, a provision of Rs 3,600 crore has been made for smartphones and tablets to 2 crore students. This scheme is for the students who pass the intermediate examination with 65%+ marks for the next 5 years. To promote youth startups, Rs 100 crore has been kept as a seed fund.
The yogi government is giving a separate budget of Rs 60 crore under the IT and startups policy. A special scheme has been made for agritech-startups to connect rural youth with employment. In this scheme, Rs 20 crore has been given to the Agriculture Accelerator Fund for agri startups.
Young lawyers will also be helped to buy free books and periodicals for the first three years of practice. For this help, the yogi government has made a provision of Rs 10 crore for young lawyers in the budget.
There is a plan to create 40 thousand new jobs in the textile industry and 20 thousand in tourism for the youth. Employment will be given to the youth by making economic corridors around all the expressways. Equipment will be purchased at health centres for Rs 100 crore, while Rs 15 crore will be used for their rejuvenation.
