Mumbai sources have made a statement that an 18-year-old son of a bureaucrat couple was found dead this morning at a prominent high rise in Mumbai. Sources have stated that the police of the upscale Malabar Hill in the south of the city have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating. It was stated that Manmath Mhaiskar, the only child of his parents, was found lying in blood on the 21st floor Dariya Mahal building on Nepean Sea Road, Mumbai.

According to sources the teen's parents Manisha Mhaiskar and Milind Mhaiskar are serving Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Manisha Mhaiskar is Principal Secretary in Urban Development and her husband Milind Mhaiskar is the CEO of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority.


 
The police sources said that Manmath had left home around 7 am claiming he was going to meet a friend. He lived with his parents in the Marine Lines area. Meanwhile after half an hour he left, the police received a call from a person who reported "someone lying in front of a high-rise building". Yesterday two of his friends were investigated regarding the case.
