According to Geo News, a study done by Gallup pakistan indicated that around 56% of Pakistanis approve of the Taliban's reign in Afghanistan. The survey included 2,500 respondents who were questioned, "Are you satisfied with the Taliban government's formation in Afghanistan?" According to the statistics, 56% of respondents are satisfied, 26% are upset, and 18% have no reaction.

As per a survey by Geo News, khyber pakhtunkhwa has the most approval for the Taliban rule, with 64 percent of the respondents expressing satisfaction. Balochistan's 56 percent, Punjab's 55 percent, and Sindh's 53 percent indicated satisfaction with the Taliban govt's creation in Afghanistan.  And those who have extended the support are mostly over the age limit of sixty years ironically.

On august 15, the Taliban taken control in afghanistan as their continuous assault in the nation concluded in Kabul, and former President Ashraf Ghani departed the country. Despite the fact that the Taliban have not totally taken control of Afghanistan's Panjshir province, they have established their government and appointed a temporary government. The study was performed in pakistan during august 14 and september 6, indicating that it began before the Taliban took control of Kabul and many of the other regions.
