PMK Founder Ramdosss stressed the need to set up power stations in every town to prevent the ill effects of global warming. Regarding the issue, he said, "Glasgow, scotland hosts the United Nations General Assembly. At the Climate Change Conference, a momentous decision was reached. In order to reduce pollution, forty countries have announced the gradual closure of coal-fired power facilities. This decision is quite pleasing, even though india is not on the list of those countries. This decision to preserve the world is one that should be applauded.

Global warming is a greater menace to the world than nuclear weapons or infectious diseases. At the 2015 paris Climate Change Conference, it was decided to keep the average temperature rise below 2 degrees Celsius in order to avoid a catastrophe. The key requirement for achieving this aim is to limit the usage of fossil fuels, such as coal, petrol, diesel, and gas. But no action has yet been taken. While this has been a source of tremendous anxiety, the fact that 40 countries have already agreed to phase out coal-fired power facilities is a significant development.

This decision should have been made by all countries, including India. Two-thirds of the world's coal is consumed by india and China. Five of the world's 20 major energy producers, Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, Poland, and Ukraine, have indicated that coal-fired power will be phased out. In the next 10 to 15 years, countries such as india believe they will be able to considerably reduce coal power generation. That would be a significant contribution to the fight against global warming."
