Driving while talking on the phone will soon be legal: nitin gadkari is a politician from India.

In recent years, traffic regulations have been strengthened. The fines for breaching traffic laws have also been raised. It is illegal to talk on a cell phone while driving. The traffic police will intervene if this is done. However, this will not be the case in the future.

Talking on the phone while driving will no longer be a crime, said Union Road Transport minister Nitin Gadkari. But there are some rules to follow, he said. An announcement will be made in the lok sabha soon.

You can talk on the phone while driving, but holding the phone in one hand and driving with the other will not work. If you want to talk on the phone, you need to use a hands-free device. (E.g. earphones, bluetooth, etc.)

While talking on the phone, your mobile should be in your pocket or set aside in the car. If you talk on the phone in this manner, it will not be a crime, said Nitin Gadkari.

The traffic police cannot charge you in this situation. If they do, you can go to court against them. You are talking on the phone while driving, so even if you are arrested, you can appeal to the court.
