The first to cross 2018 polling.. a new record!!

The previous by-election polling cycle which has been the talk of the town has finally ended. As per the schedule, the polling should end at 5 pm, but by the end of the polling, it is said that it took 10.30 pm when the votes were cast by all those who were in the queue line at the polling centers.


State Chief Electoral Officer Vikas raj revealed that the total polling was 93.13 percent. A total of 98 complaints were received from political parties during the polling of this by-election.

The interesting thing is that in the 2018 election, the polling rate was 91.31 percent. In the latest by-election, 93.13 percent was recorded. It will be interesting to see what the final result will be. The victory in the sub-battle is expressed by the political parties to whom they are confident. Counting of votes will be done on november 6. Until then, the suspense of the final birth will continue.

It is noteworthy that 41.30 percent polling was done till 1 pm, 38 percent polling was recorded from 1 to 5 pm. Total votes 241805. Votes cast 225192 (excluding 686 postal ballot votes). It was stated that the first polling was 92 percent. After correcting the calculations, the officials clarified that instead of the 92 percent they declared, 93.13 percent was recorded.

Out of the total 47 candidates in the by-election ring, only 15 candidates exercised their right to vote. The rest are unable to vote due to lack of voting rights in the previous constituency. Clashes took place between the ruling trs and the opposition bjp at many places during the polling. At the end of polling in many areas, they were in queues and they were given the opportunity to vote. As a result, the polling process continued till half past ten at night.

Although there is no such situation in the entire constituency, it is said that there is a similar situation in some areas. Now it becomes interesting to know who is the winner in the massive polling. According to the exit polls revealed immediately after the polling deadline, everyone predicted that the trs candidate would emerge as the winner in this sub-battle. And.. we have to wait till the 6th of november to know to what extent their expectations will come true.
