On Friday, vikram Goud met with Eatala Rajender, the head of the bjp State election Committee, as one of the candidates for the party's nomination for the Goshamahal assembly seat. The encounter sparked rumors about the potential raja Singh for the saffron party. The same seat is represented by suspended mla Singh. Despite being given the mp ticket from Zaheerabad, raja Singh insists on running for the same assembly seat a third time, according to highly placed sources.

Goud and Eatala reportedly discussed party efforts in the Goshamahal assembly constituency during the lunch meeting, according to party insiders. T raja Singh, a sitting mla for Goshamahal, was expelled last year for making disparaging statements against the Prophet Mohammed. Eatala and raja Singh first met a few days earlier.

According to party insiders, raja Singh informed Eatala that he was not interested in running for the Zaheerabad lok sabha seat and preferred to once again represent the Goshamahal assembly constituency. In the state elections held in 2014 and 2018, raja Singh prevailed. He beat mukesh Goud in 2014, who had run on the congress platform and was the father of vikram Goud.
