The hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) received a handsome amount of Rs. 3,625.73 crore from the sale of 14 high-value open plots in Budwel layout on Thursday. The largest amount paid per acre was Rs. 41.25 crore.
Immediately following the sales of high-value plots at Neopolis in Kokapet, the hmda held an online auction for these open plots at Budwel layout, Rajendranagar Mandal, Rangareddy district through MSTC.The 100.01 acres of Budwel's 14 plots, which ranged in size from 3.47 acres to 14.33 acres, had been put up for auction. 36.25 crore rupees per acre was the average bid price.
The hmda estimates that for these plots, the total amount to be collected through auction is Rs. 3625.73 crore for 100.01 acres. Prior to this, the plots at Neopolis @ Kokapet were auctioned off, and a total of Rs. 3319.60 crore was raised for a total area of 45.33 acres. The plots are designed for high rise structures, and the entire layout has been built with the most up-to-date infrastructure comparable to Neopolis @ Kokapet. The plan is well connected to the city's major areas via ORR and other connecting highways, as well as to the social infrastructure.
