Reportedly the G20 Summit (G20 Summit 2023) is going to be held in the national capital delhi on 9 and 10 September. During this

period, the heads of state of G20 member countries and their team will be in Delhi. Preparations are going on vigorously

to welcome them. The markets of New delhi district area will remain closed from 8 to 10 September. However, the

historic chandni Chowk will remain open. The traders here hope that the guests coming to delhi from all over the world

will take time to reach chandni Chowk. This is the reason why guests are being invited to come to the markets.

Chamber of Trade and industry (CTI) has launched a regular poster-sticker campaign in chandni Chowk. In this G20

leaders can come and shop in delhi markets, the businessmen here are waiting for the arrival of the G20 guests. During

this, G20 Global Gala Meets will also be organized. At present, slogans like G20’s Global Gala Meets, Delhi’s Bazaar’s

colorful Streets' are written in the markets of chandni Chowk and Aspa.

Shopkeepers eagerly await the G20 guests

CTI Chairman Brijesh Goyal said that a lot of craze is being seen among the shopkeepers of chandni Chowk regarding G20.

The guests will start arriving for the two-day conference before september 9 and will stay till after september 10. When

we get time from the meeting, we will reach chandni Chowk market. Here there are wholesale markets of famous Jalebi

vendors, kachori vendors, Chole Bhature, Bhalle-Papri, Paratha vendors, sweets, sarees, suits, lehengas, jewellery, suiting-

shirting, gota zari, dry fruits etc. Foreign guests will come and buy and the market will benefit. They will be able to know

closely about the culture, clothing, food and hospitality here.
