The telangana 'liberation day' celebration was launched by the bharatiya janata party (BJP) at 8 a.m. on Hyderabad's Parade Ground. Earlier, bjp state party office in nampally saw the national flag raised by Union minister G Kishan Reddy. amit shah, the union home minister, wished everyone in hyderabad a "Happy hyderabad Liberation Day."

The Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM, on the other side, will have a bike ride and public gathering today to commemorate "national integration day." According to the hyderabad mp, the bike demonstration will begin at Dargah Yousufain in nampally and end at the public gathering location, the hockey Grounds in Masab Tank. Participants in the rally and speakers at the public gathering will include mp Asaduddin Owaisi, mim floor leader in the telangana Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi, and party lawmakers.

'Liberation Day' events are being held at the Parade Grounds by the central government. The former princely state of hyderabad united with the indian Union on september 17, 1948. Shah took part in the official "Liberation Day" event held by the Centre in hyderabad the previous year.

The telangana bjp president and Union Tourism minister G Kishan Reddy, the party's National General Secretary bandi sanjay kumar, and other leaders met Shah when he arrived in hyderabad on Saturday.
