Both congress and bharatiya janata party have given their full strength to win the assembly elections in
rajasthan to be held by the end of this month i.e. 2023. If we look at the political history of the state, till date
the people in this state have not given a second chance to the government of one party. If congress wins this
time, then the tradition of rajasthan for the last thirty years will also change.
However, congress will still have to face many challenges to register victory in the state. Till now, the biggest
challenge before the party was to bring about a reconciliation between two powerful congress leaders, Ashok
Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. In fact, after the last elections, there were two camps within the congress in Rajasthan.
In the last 5 years, the party had to see rebellions several times in Rajasthan. Once the matter had reached the
threshold of the court.
But just a few months ago, congress General Secretary KC Venugopal had met both the leaders of Rajasthan
and brought about a reconciliation between them. After this meeting, he had said ashok gehlot and Sachin
Pilot have agreed to contest the assembly elections unitedly. Along with this, both the leaders have not made
any statements about each other. Due to which it is believed that at present both ashok gehlot and Sachin Pilot
have forgotten their mutual grievances and have entered the field in solidarity for the party.
Now, even though there has been a full stop to the internal strife in the congress, the party's challenges to
register victory in this year's elections have not ended. All the surveys conducted in the state before the
elections and their results show that there can be a close contest between the two parties, Bharatiya Janata Party
and Congress. bharatiya janata party was seen getting lead in the recently released C-Voter. Apart from this, in
the IANS agency Poll Straight Survey, congress was getting 97-105 seats out of 200, while Bharatiya Janata
party was also predicted to get 89-97 seats.
