The case of a bjp leader beating a drug dealer to death in kanpur, Uttar Pradesh (UP) is continuously gaining
momentum. On one hand, people and businessmen of the Sikh community have united, while on the other hand,
factionalism is being seen in bjp regarding the matter. In this matter, a large number of bjp people reached the
Police Commissioner's office late on wednesday evening and met the Commissioner under the leadership of UP
Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana's special Rakesh Tiwari. He termed the announcement of reward on BJP
leader Ankit Shukla as wrong and hasty.
BJP leaders and workers also staged a protest in the Commissioner's office. Also said that if Ankit Shukla is sent
to jail, ten thousand workers will go to jail with him. On the other hand, bjp mp satyadev Pachauri has also
come forward regarding the matter and has clearly said that the people who surrounded the commissioner's
office cannot be bjp workers.
MP satyadev Pachauri called the matter serious
Also, the way the victim businessman Amoldeep Singh was assaulted, mp satyadev Pachauri described it as a
serious matter. Pachauri said that there is no place for criminals in bjp, bjp is with truth. He said that he will
also write a letter to the state president to expel the accused from the party. The bjp mp has justified the police
action and announcement of reward.
Mayor Pramila Pandey also held a meeting
