Bharatiya Janata party approached the election commission on wednesday evening against Chief Minister
Ashok Gehlot and complained against the chief minister for hiding information about criminal cases in the
nomination papers filled from Sardarpura. It is said in the complaint letter that two criminal cases including
fraud and forgery are registered against Gehlot, but this has been hidden in the affidavit submitted along with the
nomination papers. The first case is related to land scam, while the second case is related to rape and sexual
violence.
Considering Gehlot's act guilty under the Representation of the people Act, bjp has complained about Chief
Minister ashok gehlot to the election commission and demanded rejection of nomination papers. Union Jal
Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who reached the election commission, said that a complaint has
been made to the Chief election Commissioner in jaipur in this regard. It was said that ashok Gehlot's son
Laxman Singh had submitted the nomination form on november 6. In this, it was necessary to give detailed
details of all the pending criminal cases, but Gehlot has deliberately presented incomplete details. Gehlot did not
give details of the two criminal cases registered against him in the nomination papers, which was mandatory.
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat raised the question
He told that an FIR related to land scam has been registered against Gehlot on 08 september 2015 in
Gandhinagar police station of jaipur under sections 166, 409, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the indian Penal
Code. Presently this case is pending before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate. The next date in this is
24th November. Similarly, another case is registered under cognizable sections like rape and sexual violence.
This information was not given in the affidavit submitted along with the nomination papers, although it was
mandatory to give this information.
