Telangana Chief Minister
After bjp got a clear majority in the assembly elections in three states of madhya pradesh, Chhattisgarh,
Rajasthan and telangana, the opposition has started raising questions about EVMs. At the same time, former
Deputy chief minister and rajya sabha MP sushil kumar modi has replied on this on Tuesday. He said that after
their defeat they (opposition) will question everything including EVMs. Other opposition parties are blaming
congress for the defeat, but congress, JDU and Samajwadi party would have lost the madhya pradesh elections
anyway, even if they had contested the elections together. If they had fought together, Congress’s seats would
have reduced further.
congress did not raise questions on EVMs at first – Sushil Kumar Modi
On the questions raised by opposition parties regarding EVMs, sushil kumar modi said that how was the victory
in telangana and karnataka elections? He says such things to maintain the morale of his workers. congress did
not raise questions on EVMs at first. Questions are being raised after three days of counting. Now we will blame
the election commission and the government machinery. congress has a history that whenever they lose
elections, they blame the defeat on EVMs. Instead of reviewing, they talk like this.
congress has run out of steam
Further the bjp leader said that I had gone to Madhya Pradesh. kamal nath had not even got the pictures of
sonia gandhi and rahul gandhi installed there. kamal nath was running the elections alone. If someone in the
congress had the courage to run the election campaign by himself, bypassing sonia gandhi and rahul gandhi, it
became clear what his status was. congress has lost its air. The people of the Grand Alliance have become so
demoralized that after five months they will no longer be able to compete with the BJP.
