Rain warning again for Chennai..!?

Due to cyclone Michaung, many parts of chennai and its surrounding areas are flooded. In this situation, there is a chance of light rain in chennai for the next few days, according to the Meteorological Department. In a statement issued by the Meteorological Department, yesterday (05-12-2023), the 'Severe Cyclone Michaung' which prevailed over the Central West bengal sea and the adjacent South Andhra coastal areas crossed the South Andhra coast near South Babatla at noon.

Following this on 06.12.2023: Light to moderate rain may occur at a couple of places in tamil Nadu, Puduwai, and Karaikal. 07.12.2023 and 08.12.2023: Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places over tamil Nadu, Puduvai, and Karaikal.

09.12.2023: Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places in tamil Nadu, Puduwai, and Karaikal. Heavy rain at one or two places in Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar and tenkasi districts.

The sky will remain partly cloudy for the next 24 hours. Few parts of the city may experience light/moderate rain. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 25 degree Celsius. The sky will remain partly cloudy for the next 48 hours. Light/moderate rain with thundershowers may occur in a few parts of the city. The maximum temperature will be around 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 25 degree Celsius.
 
Arabian sea Regions:

08.12.2023 and 09.12.2023: Cyclonic winds with a speed of 40 to 45 kmph and occasional gusts of 55 kmph are likely over South east Arabian Sea.

10.12.2023: Cyclonic winds with a speed of 40 to 45 kmph and occasional speed of 55 kmph are likely to occur over the Southeast arabian sea, Lakshadweep, and adjoining Maldives. The weather department said that fishermen are advised not to go to these areas on the above days.
