Bahujan Samaj party (BSP) President mayawati on wednesday took a dig at the Central Government’s Pradhan

Mantri Garib kalyan Anna Yojana. He said that making more than 81 crore people of the country dependent on

government food grains was neither a dream after independence nor was it thought by baba Saheb Bhimrao

Ambedkar while making the Constitution.

mayawati also said that from the recent assembly election results of four states, it seems that these oppressed and

neglected people, who have been made dependent on government food grains, are not happy with their plight, but

are they not able to show so much courage? So that by registering their protest in the elections, they can make

meaningful efforts to elect a government that will follow the policies of public welfare and welfare of all.
