A 210-year-old tradition, Digvijay Singh will not participate…

A 210-year-old tradition will be carried out today at Radyogarh fort, the stronghold of Digvijay Singh, former cm of madhya pradesh and lok sabha candidate from the Rajgarh parliamentary seat. Today Hilla Utsav will be celebrated at the fort. However, former cm Digvijay Singh will not attend the festival. Former cm Digvijay Singh has congratulated the people of Radyogarh on the occasion of Hilla Utsav by making the song Hilla viral on social media.

According to the elders of Radyogarh, british commander john Baptiste attacked the Radyogarh fort with his army. At that time the command of Radyogarh was in the hands of Hindupath king Raja jai Singh. With the help of a huge army, john Baptist conquered the fort of Bajranggarh. After this, the british army laid siege to the Radyogarh fort. Due to limited resources, Radyogarh could not fight for long.

Raja jai Singh attacked the Sheopur cantonment and captured the british commander's son. He was informed about this and asked to withdraw his army from Radyogarh Fort. The morale of the enemy army was broken due to the skillful strategy of king jai Singh. When the british army started withdrawing, the villagers of Nandner were the first to come and give the news, since then this tradition started.
