The decision on the petition of delhi cm arvind kejriwal will come on tuesday (April 9). In this, he has challenged the arrest of ED. delhi high court will give its verdict tomorrow. cm kejriwal was arrested by ED on march 21 in the delhi Excise Policy case. At present, he is lodged in Tihar Jail. The court has sent him to judicial custody till april 15.

Meanwhile, the delhi high court on monday (April 9) termed the petition filed for the removal of arvind kejriwal from the post as a petition filed for publicity. Not only this, the court even said that a heavy fine should be imposed on the petitioner. Former AAP mla sandeep Kumar had given a petition in the high court that arvind kejriwal should be removed from the post.
Justice Subramaniam prasad of delhi high court said on the petition, "This is just for publicity." He said, "The Acting Chief Justice has already listed and disposed of similar cases, hence this petition." Be listed before the bench headed by the Acting Chief Justice. After sending the petition to another bench, Justice prasad said, "I would have imposed a heavy fine." sandeep Kumar has said in his petition that kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case related to the delhi Excise Policy. After leaving, the leader feels "incompetent" to perform the functions of the chief minister under the Constitution.
The petition said the AAP leader's "unavailability" complicates the constitutional machinery and he can never function as chief minister from jail as per the mandate of the Constitution. The matter will now be heard on april 10. Earlier, the high court had rejected two PILs requesting the removal of cm kejriwal from the post of chief minister after his arrest.
