Had to face a big defeat from Bhopal..let’s know..?
The real fight started after the lok sabha elections held in the summer of 2019 when Digvijay Singh from bhopal and jyotiraditya scindia from Guna lost the mp election. Digvijay Singh had to face a big defeat against Malegaon blast accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh from the capital Bhopal. Similarly, in the Guna seat, jyotiraditya scindia was defeated by his old supporter KP Yadav who joined the bjp just before the elections.
Meanwhile, bjp started its 'Operation Lotus' in Madhya Pradesh. The matter became more serious when the congress high command did not give rajya sabha tickets to Jyotiraditya Scindia. Taking advantage of the growing bitterness between jyotiraditya scindia and Kamal Nath-Digvijay, the bjp carried out a coup in power in the state in february 2020.
Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with 22 MLAs, left congress and joined BJP. After this, congress got power after 15 years from Pratap of Digvijay's Narmada Parikrama, but it got delayed within 15 months. Shivraj Singh Chauhan once again became the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh.

However, despite losing power, Digvijay Singh remained politically active in Madhya Pradesh, due to which the congress high command also gave him a second term in Rajya Sabha. Once, despite all the efforts, on the instructions of the high command, Digvijay Singh had to contest elections from his traditional Rajgarh parliamentary seat. Here he is facing two-time mp Rodmal nagar of BJP.
