Sharad Pawar's party ncp faction has released its third list of candidates for lok sabha elections. sharad pawar has announced two names in this list. Shashikant Shinde has been made candidate from the Satara seat and Shriram Patil has been made a candidate from the Raver seat. sharad pawar has released this list after the press conference held by maha Vikas Aghadi yesterday. Yesterday, MVA called a press conference regarding seat sharing in which the picture was made clear on how many seats shiv sena, UBT, Sharad Pawar's ncp, and congress will contest. Even before this, sharad pawar had released two lists and today sharad pawar has fielded candidates for the remaining seats.

It was decided in the MVA meeting that shiv sena (UBT) will contest on 21 seats while congress will contest on 17 seats and ncp (SP) will contest on 10 seats. The final agreement ended several weeks of negotiations as all parties prepared for the five-phase lok sabha elections in maharashtra from april 19 to May 20. This agreement has been reached after congress gave up its claim on the controversial Sangli and Bhiwandi seats.

Maharashtra congress President Nana Patole clarified that the party has not capitulated to its allies but has taken a strategic step back and stressed that the talks cannot continue indefinitely. His statement comes in the backdrop of reports of some discontent within the state unit of congress over the allocation of seats like Sangli and Bhiwandi and four out of six seats in mumbai being given to the uddhav Thackeray-led Sena.
