
The Mahayuti government has approved schemes worth more than Rs 5,000 crores for the development of famous temples and pilgrimage sites. These schemes include Rs 1,865 crore for Tulja Bhavani temple in Dharashiv, Rs 1,445 crore for Mahalaxmi temple in Kolhapur, Rs 829 crore for the temple located at Mahurgad in Nanded, Rs 275 crore for Trimbakeshwar temple in Nashik and Rs 259.59 crore for Jyotiba temple in Kolhapur.
Taking a big step towards strengthening healthcare and medical education in rural maharashtra, the Mahayuti government led by maharashtra Chief minister devendra fadnavis approved the establishment of a new government medical college in the district. Its estimated cost will be Rs 485.08 crore.
The college will have a capacity to admit 100 students and will also have a 430-bed hospital. This college has been dedicated to Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar.
Apart from this, many other decisions were also taken focusing on the welfare of women. 'Adi shakti Abhiyan' will be implemented to empower women across the state. The campaign aims to sensitively address issues related to women's health, reduce malnutrition, infant mortality and maternal mortality, increase the literacy rate among girls, prevent sexual and physical abuse, promote the leadership role of women in the panchayat raj system and strengthen the economic independence of women. An allocation of Rs 10.5 crore has been made for this campaign.
Apart from this, a film will also be produced on the life of this great social reformer in Marathi and other languages to present his works at the global level. maharashtra Chief minister devendra fadnavis announced that the film will be released internationally.
