According to the report of news agency ANI, Bashiruddin said that bangladesh has not yet received any official message from India. He said, "We will take appropriate steps after getting formal information. If any issue arises, both sides will discuss it and find a solution."
ANI report quoted him as saying, "We have come to know from social media and news that they (India) have taken some decisions regarding land ports, especially Akhaura and Dawki ports. Our aim is to increase competition, which is mutually beneficial for both countries."
