The mumbai Municipal Corporation has issued guidelines for the sacrifice of animals on Bakrid 2025. Along with this, Samajwadi party mla Abu Azmi has appealed to the people of the Muslim community to perform the tradition of sacrifice by following the guidelines.

Abu Azmi has released a video on his X account and congratulated everyone on Eid-al-Azha. Along with this, he has said, "We should celebrate this Bakrid with full enthusiasm according to our religious tradition, but at the same time we have to keep in mind that the sacrifice should not be done in the open at all." 'There should be no bloodshed because of the sacrifice'

Abu Azmi further said, "We will have to perform the sacrifice by putting up a pandal and curtains. Cleanliness is half of faith. We have to ensure that no blood is shed because of our sacrifice. There should be no dirt anywhere and no one should face any problem."

'Do not roam around wearing blood-stained clothes'

The SP mla said, "Do not go on the road wearing blood-stained clothes. Be cautious while carrying meat from one place to another. Cover the meat with a cloth and make sure that it is not open from anywhere. No brother of our country should face any problem."

'Sacrifice with full enthusiasm within the limits of law'

He further said, "You know that some people only look for excuses to trouble Muslims in some way, but we are followers of Islam. Our only effort should be that no one faces any trouble because of us. We will sacrifice with full enthusiasm and within the limits of law."
