Hyderabad sources have reported that Ivanka Trump, who is in Hyderabad for Global Entrepreneurship Summit meeting, had given the city's celebrated biryani a miss when she sat for dinner along with PM Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Taj Falaknuma Palace.
According to sources the dinner was hosted by the Union Government in her honor. Even though the dinner was planned between 7.30 PM and 8.30 PM, it was delayed by an hour. Meanwhile Ivanka had arrived at the Palace by 8.30 PM who was guided to the royal dining hall where dinner was arranged for the guests. The royal dining hall is the longest dining table in the world which accommodates 101 persons in one go. Furthermore during the dinner, she chose to take starters and fruits. Even the Prime Minister and CM KCR too have limited themselves to a lighter diet.
Moreover the dinner consisted of vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties
such as Haleem, Khubani ke Malai kofta, Subz Gulzar Biryani, Dahi ke Kebab, Dum
Ki Biryani, Mirchi Ka Salan. Deserts Double Ka Meetha and Khubai Ka Mitha.
