Punjab Politics: Amritpal Singh's family's appeal to Punjabis!!!
Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) has withdrawn its candidate from Khadur Sahib constituency in favor of Amritpal Singh, after which Amritpal Singh's family has thanked Akali Dal Amritsar. On this occasion, the family members appealed to the people of punjab to ensure the victory of Amritpal as well as Shiromani Akali Dal amritsar candidates from Khadur Sahib. It should be mentioned that yesterday Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) President Simranjit Singh Mann has announced not to field his candidate due to Bhai Amritpal contesting from lok sabha Constituency Khadur Sahib. Mann has today withdrawn the name of his candidate Harpal Singh Baler from Khadur Sahib.
Everyone knows that Khadur Sahib is the Panthak seat of punjab and from here the chief minister of punjab, Amritpal Singh, imprisoned under NSA in Assam's Dibrugarh Jail, has decided to contest the election. This announcement has been made by Amritpal Singh's mother Balwinder Kaur. It may be mentioned that Amritpal was arrested in april last year and the National Security Act (NSA) was imposed against him. After this Shiromani Akali Dal has made Virsa Singh Valtoha its candidate, due to which now Valtoha has met the family of Amritpal Singh to seek the support of the family.
Valtoha shared a facebook post and wrote... This morning the family of Bhai Amritpal Singh Khalsa, his mother Bibi Balwinder Kaur, father S. Met with Tarsem Singh and his uncle at the ongoing sit-in at the heritage Marg Sri Amritsar. S. Valtoha discussed the current lok sabha elections with the family. The meeting took place in a very good atmosphere. S. Valtoha also requested the family of Bhai Amritpal Singh to cooperate in the current elections.
