Key decision of ap Govt on distribution of pensions - Opposition fumes…

CS has decided to deposit May pensions in banks in Andhra Pradesh. Orders have been issued to give pensions at home to those who do not have Aadhaar linked bank accounts. The controversy over the distribution of pensions has been going on since two months with the EC's order to keep volunteers away from the distribution of pensions at the time of elections. The government, which distributed at the secretariats in April, decided to put it in bank accounts this time. CS jawahar reddy issued orders to this effect.

CS jawahar reddy said that even in the month of May, pensions cannot be given at the beneficiaries' homes. It is concluded that it is not possible due to shortage of staff. At the same time, the beneficiaries cannot be brought to the secretariats. That's why orders were issued on sunday that it is going to be deposited in bank accounts linked with Aadhaar. According to government figures, about 75 percent of people have bank accounts linked to their Aadhaar. That is why the cash will be deposited directly into their bank accounts. Officials will go to the homes of the remaining 25 percent.

The opposition is also wrong about this. Concerns are expressed that depositing in bank accounts will cause congestion in banks and cause confusion. Some officials are accused of taking such decisions in favor of the ycp out of anger that the volunteers have been exempted from the duties of pension distribution. They are angry that they are trying to spread the word that they are not able to deliver pensions to every house because of the opposition. They are questioning why they are not thinking of giving pensions door-to-door using the other staff including the secretariat staff.
