Actor cum music director vijay antony is set to act in a sequel to his blockbuster movies soon, and an announcement was made that the update on the movie alongside its first look will be out on his birthday, July 24.
Recently it was said that a national award-winning director will join hands with vijay antony and buzz is that it might be priya Krishnaswamy, the maker of the movie Baaram which won 2018 national award for Best tamil film.
Though an official confirmation on this speculation is awaited, it must be noted that this movie will be Pichaikaran 2, which happens to be the sequel to Sasi's 2016 superhit and written by vijay Antony. There are also reports that shruti haasan has been finalized to do the female lead role in this project. shruti has never signed any project after 'Laabam' where she pairs with vijay Sethupathi. shruti haasan who was currently idle for more than a year is now making a comeback and she works under mahesh manjrekar direction in bollywood right now.
