It was not always easy for me to be a son growing up in a chaotic or dysfunctional environment where I had to witness what was going on around me, comprehend it, and still appreciate and accept it. Therefore, there was some sort of understanding. So, somewhere in my mind, I had the idea of trying to ease everyone into it, including the first individuals surrounding us."
