In this situation, Bharti airtel has also jumped into the sector.

Bharti airtel has formed a new partnership with its indian subsidiary Hughes Communications in the US to plan to provide satellite broadband services in India. Bharti airtel - Hughes Communications plans to merge Bharti airtel and Hughes Communications india Pvt Ltd with existing indian VSAT operations to provide satellite and hybrid network services to business and government agencies.
VSAT Business: The 2,00,000 VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) business of the two companies is to be merged into the currently developing alliance. The announcement was made in 2019 and the NCLT is currently being formed with the approval of the Federal Telecom Department.
Meanwhile Elon Musk, before launching his Starlink service in india, announced the pre-order for this service to the indian people before getting approval from the central government and started accepting advance payments.
Opposition to the federal government has led to strong opposition from the central telecom sector, with Starlink india not only suspending the pre-order service but also refunding the advance on the 5000 pre-orders it has received so far. This is a huge setback for Elon Musk.
