 On Sunday, Biju Chhatra Janata party (BJP) student body Biju Chhatra had laid eggs at Union minister Bishweshar Thudu's convoy in protest against the hike in fuel prices. 



The protest by the student body was at the center. In response, bjp activists hurled insults at the Chief Minister's convoy.



The MP's aide also alleged that stones were hurled at the vehicle. He alleged that the protesters came with weapons including knives. police said two people were taken into custody in the incident.



BJD-BJP activists also clashed over the inauguration of a new railway station in Balasore. 



While bjp activists claimed that the project belonged to the central government, the BJD claimed that it belonged to the state government.

 


Slogans of narendra modi and naveen patnaik were raised at the function. bjp mp Pratap Sarangi and BJD mla Swaroop Das were present on the occasion.
