The state government has asked all the divisional commissioners to monitor the drinking water system in their respective areas through meetings and ensure immediate solution. At the same time, a letter has been sent by the government to all the district Magistrates in this regard. The government has clearly said that there should be no complaint of water shortage.

Clean water will reach every village, pipeline scheme will gain momentum

Under the state government's 'Har Ghar Jal' and 'Namami Gange' schemes, arrangements have been made to deliver pure water to every house through pipeline. Where these schemes have been completed, people will be given full benefit of it. And where the construction is still pending, there is a preparation to deliver water through alternative methods.

Drinking water will also be arranged in government institutions

The government has also ordered to make arrangements for adequate water in tehsils, police stations, hospitals, Anganwadi centers and community toilets. Instructions have also been given to install pitchers and drinking water stalls at these places for relief from heat. people living in villages will also be made aware about water conservation, protection from heat wave and use of clean water. For this, 'Information, education and Communication' (IEC) campaign will be run. The government wants people to understand the importance of water and use it properly.
