The experience of watching content without ads on amazon Prime will no longer be the same as before. From june 17, Prime will start showing advertisements on its platform. Prime has announced this last year, but now this rule will be applicable for indian viewers as well. Now users will have to spend extra money to watch movies and web series like "Panchayat", "Mirzapur" and "The Family Man" without ads. According to reports, amazon has already started sending mails to its users for this information.

How much extra charge will have to be paid for ad-free content

Till now, users used to get the benefit of watching ad-free content on subscribing to Prime, but the company has now made changes in its old plans, which will affect the pockets of the users. If you want that no ad comes while watching the content, then for this users will have to choose the add-on option in the existing Prime membership. For this ad-free experience, you will have to pay an additional Rs 129 per month or Rs 699 annually. The company said that it will charge Rs 699 under the discount price right now, but for ad-free content, the company will charge Rs 999 as an add-on.

Will we have to think again to subscribe to amazon Prime now?

Amazon had revised its Prime membership plan in india in the year 2023 itself to Rs 299 per month and Rs 1499 annually, but now users will not be able to experience ad-free content even with these plans. To watch your favorite movies and web series without ads, you will have to do an extra add-on. amazon also has a Prime Lite plan, in which you can stream content in HD with ads, but according to the report, this new change will not be applicable on MX Player.

Many of Amazon's hit series like "Panchayat", "The Family Man" and "Mirzapur" are very popular in India. The fourth season of panchayat is going to come in July and its teaser has been released recently. In such a situation, if the audience has to watch ads in between these shows, then their experience will definitely be affected. To avoid this, users will now have to pay a hefty amount.
