During an interview with The Male Feminist, surveen chawla revealed that she too had faced casting couch in Mumbai. Surveen told that a director, despite knowing that she was newly married, tried to kiss her after a meeting in his office on Veera Desai Road. Surveen said, "We talked about my marriage in his cabin. He also asked how my husband was doing. But when I was leaving, he bent down to kiss me at the door. I had to push him away and I left in shock."
South director had made a dirty demand to sleep with him
Surveen also revealed similar terrifying casting couch experiences in the South film industry. Surveen said that a South director who did not speak english or hindi used a friend to convey his humiliating demand that she sleep with him during the shoot. The friend worked as a translator and told her about the director's dirty demand. Surveen was shocked to hear the whole thing.
