Following the inspection, Assistant Commissioner (Food) Anupama balasaheb Patil issued an order of license suspension under Section 32(3) of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and Regulation 2.1.8(4) of the year 2011. The order clarifies that till all the deficiencies are removed and the site gets clearance by the regulatory body, zepto's food business operation in Dharavi will remain suspended.
