Since yesterday, rumours have been swirling about the alleged marriage between actor siddharth and actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who has been in a relationship for several years. Reports suggested that the couple tied the knot at the Ranganathaswamy temple in Srirangapuram, Vanaparthi district, creating a buzz from tollywood to Bollywood. However, the situation took a turn when both actors clarified that they were not married but engaged.
Siddharth took to instagram to share a reel with the caption 'She said yes Engaged,' while Aditi also posted a photo flaunting engagement rings, captioned 'He said yes.' This revelation stunned everyone, who had presumed a wedding had taken place. The engagement ceremony indeed occurred at the Ranganathaswamy temple, but it was not a wedding ceremony as previously speculated.
The engagement was reportedly attended only by close family members and friends, with villagers and media barred from the temple premises. Some even speculated that a film shoot was underway, preventing outsiders from entering. The ceremony was officiated by priests from tamil Nadu, with raja Krishna deva Rao, scion of the Vanaparthi dynasty, and his family in attendance.
Aditi Rao Hydari's familial ties to the region, being the granddaughter of Rameswara Rao, the last king of Vanaparthi, further cemented the significance of the engagement at the historic temple. Following the engagement, a dinner was reportedly held at Vasudevamma Garden in Sansthanadhisula, Vanaparthi.
Aditi, who was previously married to bollywood actor Satyadeep Mishra, has since focused on her career after her divorce in 2012. Her relationship with siddharth blossomed during the filming of 'Maha Samudram' in 2021, directed by ajay Bhupathi. Though the couple has not officially announced their relationship, they have been open about it on social media, attending events together, including Sharwanand's engagement.
