Citroen India: Citroen will bring many new cars next year, an electric model will also be included 

Before the end of 2024, Citroen may bring the eC3 Aircross to the market. This is the electric model of the recently launched C3 Aircross.

2023 has been very important for the vehicle manufacturer Citroen because this year the company has launched cars like eC3 and C3 Aircross. In 2024, the company plans to introduce the C3X high-riding sedan and all-electric eC3 Aircross SUV and introduce a 6-speed torque converter automatic variant for the C3 hatch and C3 Aircross. Citroën C3, C3 Aircross Automatics

Citroen may bring Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic transmission variants for the C3 hatchback and C3 Aircross SUV in India. This will help the company address the important gaps in Citroen's indian portfolio. The torque converter automatic is likely to be paired with the advanced third-generation model of the existing 110hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine. Which will be manufactured locally by Citroen. 

Citroen C3X

Citroën's fifth offering in india will be the mid-size sedan C3X. Which will come with a fastback style and more ground clearance like an SUV. However, in terms of price and size, it will compete with the lower variants of the hyundai Verna, honda City, Skoda Slavia, and volkswagen Virtus. It will compete with the upcoming Tata Curve in the high-riding, fastback sedan segment. Based on the same heavily localized Common Modular Platform (CMP) as the C3, eC3, and C3 Aircross, the C3X is also likely to get many of the same features. It will have a 110hp, 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which will be available in the option of 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Its electric version is also likely to be introduced later. It can be launched by the end of 2024.

Citroen eC3 Aircross

Before the end of 2024, Citroen may bring the eC3 Aircross to the market. This is the electric model of the recently launched C3 Aircross. Based on a common modular platform, the electric version of the C3 Aircross may get the option of a larger battery and motor due to its larger size and weight. Currently, a 29.2kWh battery and 57hp electric motor have been used in the eC3 hatchback. Like the petrol model, the eC3 Aircross can be offered in five- and seven-seat layouts.
