Udhaya Revenue Analyst was sentenced to 9 years in prison and a punishment of Rs 6,000 by the ooty Anti-Bribery Special court for receiving a bribe of Rs 500. Thandava Nadarajan worked at the Nilgiris district Assistant Governor's office as a Revenue Analyst. In 2007, john Bosco, a native of Udagai, applied to the Udagai Governor's office for a certificate of succession. The application was received by the village revenue officer, who forwarded it to the revenue inspector. 

Thandava Natarajan, a revenue analyst, had asked john Bosco for a bribe of Rs 500 to certify him. As a result, john Bosco filed an anti-corruption complaint with the Anti-Corruption and Anti-Corruption Police. The money was handed over to john Bosco by the Anti-Corruption police after the complaint was filed, and he was instructed to transfer it over to the Revenue Analyst. While passing over the money to Revenue Analyst Thandava Natarajan, anti-corruption and anti-corruption police apprehended Thandava Natarajan. 

The matter is currently being heard in Udaipur's Anti-Corruption Special Court. In this case, a definitive decision was reached.  Thandava Natarajan was sentenced to 9 years in prison by Judge C. Sridhar. In addition, he was fined Rs 6,000. The revenue analyst who took a bribe of Rs.500 was sentenced to 14 years in prison and fined Rs.6000 after serving 9 years, causing a huge uproar in Udagai.
