"I first recognise that we have a hugely future Road Transport minister who would accept sustainable infrastructure development," AIADMK mp P. ravindranath stated in support of the Road Transport and Highways Department's proposal for a grant in the Lok Sabha. We should be grateful for the changes he is bringing about, as he recognises the importance of this sector in the development of a country.

Our National Highway Network would be expanded by 25,000 kilometres in 2022-23, at a cost of Rs. 20,000 crore, thanks to the Prime Minister's Kathi shakti Master Plan. Similarly, our government established the Bharat Mala project, with a project value of Rs. 5.35 lakh crore, with the goal of improving road and infrastructure connections across the country.

I expect that states with strong industrial and agricultural sectors, like as tamil Nadu, will receive their fair portion of the allocation. I further suggest that projects with a stronger focus on tamil Nadu's southern districts be approved, since this will aid in the region's economic development. The Land Acquisition Committee must approve the four-lane section of NH-85 from Usilampatti to Bodinayakkanur before construction can begin. I strongly urge you to expedite the project's constraints and approvals. I request that the government authorise the drafting of a new proposal for this 25 km greenfield project connecting NH-85 from Usilampatti to NH-7 as an extension of the aforementioned NH-85 project.
