Director manu Warrier has definitely made an everlasting impression with his directorial debut 'Kuruthi' and we are sure he has invited several hot debates now after this release. The movie which is touted to be a socio-political thriller speaks mostly on religious conflicts and the movie also explores several human relationships in this home invasion flick.

The story belongs to two families as tragedy struck both of them. Ibru loses his wife and daughter in a landslide and he lives with his brother Rasool and father. Sumathi and her brother also lose their life partners to the same landslide and Sumathi have feelings for Ibru and Ibru is unsure of marrying a woman from another religion.

On an unfortunate night, a cop enters Ibru's home with vishnu and he is accused of murdering a Muslim guy and other Muslims are seeking revenge and now it is upto Ibru's family to keep him and the cop safe. Definitely, this entire movie is unpredictable and completely gripping from the first frame. The entire movie is shot in dark and mostly the camera focuses on the faces of the characters to capture the cruelty. Definitely, 'Kuruthi' is a very engaging thriller flick.
