Under the new rules, the Department of school education has decided to hold a change consultation for teachers who work in government schools in tamil Nadu. This is currently in the planning stages. The school education directorate had asked the district primary education authorities to prepare a list of promotions for the role of headteacher in government schools and submit a report in this circumstance.

As a result, the Department's Directorate has received the list of teachers for promotion. Authorities looked over the list. The names of the teachers facing disciplinary action as well as those under investigation for the complaint were discovered to be included. Following that, those implicated in the complaint were ordered to be removed from the promotion list and other benefits.

'The names of those subject to disciplinary action in the promotion list should be released and a fresh report produced,' the Directorate of school school wrote to the primary education authorities in this respect. Those who are unable to conduct an investigation should not be recommended for criminal prosecution or disciplinary action. We must adhere to the guidelines and select those who are deserving than the undeserving.
