MK Stalin, the chief minister of tamil Nadu, has made free house plots available to marginalised and marginalised people, Adithravidars and tribals, and those from backward strata, over the internet. Today (4.4.2022) at the General Secretariat, on behalf of the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, the government of tamil Nadu released a press statement on behalf of chief minister MK Stalin, distributing e-bills to ten persons as a gesture of delivering free bonds.

The Revenue Department, the Adithravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, and the backward classes Welfare Department had previously awarded home leases to thousands of people on properties already purchased from individuals and non-objectionable government alienated lands. Because the details were not properly uploaded in the village revenue papers, the beneficiaries were unable to obtain complete land title deeds for their lands in this situation.

Special measures are being taken in all districts to register the recipients' details in the tamilnadu Internet Documents and issue e-Patta e-Patta as per the Chief Minister's orders. The district Collectors have so far identified 11,873 hectares of Adithravidar Welfare Lands and 2,668 hectares of backward classes Welfare Lands as part of it. A total of 2,77,463 beneficiaries live on Adithravidar welfare lands, with 2,35,890 on Adithravidar welfare lands and 41,573 on backward welfare lands.
