On the occasion of tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin's birthday, various events are being organised on behalf of the Thoothukudi South district DMK. A meeting of DMK activists was organised last night in Thandupattu hamlet near Udankudi as part of this. minister Anita R. Radhakrishnan was in charge of the meeting. kanimozhi, a member of the Thoothukudi Lok Sabha, was there and awarded a gold ring costing one pound each to 100 DMK executives who had performed well in the recent Lok Sabha, Assembly, and local elections. On the eve of MK Stalin's birthday, he also gave prizes to the winners of a cricket match.

A sumptuous dinner was served to the DMK members who took part in the event. MC Shanmugaiah (Ottappidaram), Urvasi S. Amirtharaj (Auvaikundam), businesswoman Anita R. Ananthamakeswaran, DMK State Student election Deputy Organizer Umari Shankar, and others were among those in attendance. On the eve of panchayat raj tomorrow, a special Grama Niladhari meeting was organised at Attikulam, South Ilandaikulam panchayat near Kayatharu. V. Selvi, the panchayat head, presided. kanimozhi MP P. Geethajeevan, minister P. Geethajeevan, and district Collector K. Senthilraj were among those in attendance.

Kanimozhi is a member of parliament from Kanimozhi. "I have embraced the South Ilandaikulam panchayat," he remarked. An overhead reservoir with a capacity of 60 thousand litres will be built in the panchayat with funds from my block development fund. The nurse will work in the local sub-health centre. On the route between Kayathar and Thevarkulam, big cars carrying heavy cargoes will be prosecuted. The highway will be repaired. The artist housing programme will construct homes for the homeless. All portions of the panchayat will have access to drinking water.
