P Ramamohan Rao, a retired IAS officer and former chief secretary of tamil Nadu, said that movie stars and businessmen cannot engage in politics and cannot expect to elevate the Kapu community to positions of political influence in what appeared to be a snub to Jana Sena party leader and tollywood power star Pawan Kalyan. Real leadership should come from the Kapu community's regular folk. After launching the diary on Saturday, Rammohan Rao addressed the Kapu Employees' Welfare Association gathering. "Until then, one cannot expect the Kapus to come to power and run the state," he remarked.

He added that the growth of Kapus had nothing to do with gaining control. "It is incorrect to believe that the Kapu community can only advance if it has political influence. The Kapu caste is falling behind in every field as a result of this erroneous orientation, he claimed. The former IAS officer advised Kapus not to lose their sense of individuality and to stop pleading for pity from others.

"Over the past 30 years, Kapus have not made the political progress they deserved. First and foremost, we must work to improve our financial, industrial, commercial, and other aspects of strength. Only if they achieve academically are they able to do it. While honouring the other communities, we will be proud of our caste, he declared. He bemoaned that castes that only make up 5–6% of the population are able to dominate all fields because they can take care of other castes. "We make up almost 27% of the entire population. But because we can't drag people along with us, we are falling behind," he remarked.
