A. revanth reddy, the head of the telangana congress Legislative party, arrived in delhi on tuesday night — after the party confirmed that he will serve as Telangana's second chief minister — to negotiate cabinet formation details with the party high command.

According to sources, revanth reddy has also invited the senior brass to the swearing-in event at LB Stadium on december 7.

Earlier in the day, AICC President mallikarjun Kharge, rahul Gandhi, General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal, a team of observers led by karnataka Deputy chief minister D.K. Shivakumar, and AICC telangana in-charge Manikrao Thakre met with N. reddy NALAMADA' target='_blank' title='uttam kumar reddy-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>uttam kumar reddy and Mallu bhatti vikramarka, both candidates for the telangana chief ministership.

According to sources, with the telangana Cabinet's top limit set at 18, revanth reddy will consider the 17 nominations, balancing seniority and caste dynamics, given that the majority of MLAs were from the Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Khammam, and warangal areas. Senior politicians who have won many times and served as ministers in past congress administrations are also among them.

Venugopal attended a two-hour discussion with Uttam Kumar and bhatti vikramarka at his apartment following the decision to elect revanth reddy as the CLP leader in Telangana. He allegedly informed the couple that the decision had been made by Kharge and rahul, urging them to follow it and promising to prioritize senior figures in the Cabinet.

Kumari directed that all officials work in close collaboration with other departments. The police were told to prepare proper bandobust, traffic, parking, and security measures, as well as firefighting arrangements and the deployment of fire tenders at the location.

MA&UD personnel were directed to clean, water, and fog the site, while ghmc officials were directed to fix the roads leading to the venue. The health department was advised to provide for properly prepared ambulances, while the energy department was urged to guarantee that electricity was not cut off.
