In anticipation of the upcoming ayodhya Rama coronation ceremony, the entire city is adorned with spiritual fervor. A crucial milestone related to this eagerly awaited event has recently been achieved as the idol of Child Rama reached the sanctum sanctorum in Ayodhya. The face and upper part of the idol are currently covered with yellow and white cloth. On january 22, 2024, at 12:29:08 PM, the Prana Pratishta (consecration of life) of bala Rama will take place in ayodhya Mandir, conducted by prime minister Narendra Modi.

In preparation for this significant event, the idols of Lord Rama were securely moved to the ram Janmabhoomi premises with the assistance of ATS commandos and brought into the sanctum sanctorum using a special crane. Prakash Javadekar, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, shared images of the statue of Lord Rama entering the Garbha Gudi for the first time. This 51-inch tall idol depicts Child Rama, masked, and standing in a form when he was five years old.


Devotees of Sri Rama worldwide are eagerly awaiting the Pranapratistha event scheduled for the 22nd of this month, where prime minister Modi will perform the consecration in a grand ceremony. During this event, prime minister Modi will unveil the statue of Lord Rama, providing a divine view. Arun Yogiraj, a renowned sculptor from Mysore, Karnataka, crafted the statue, and the trust commended his contribution. The idol, made of black stone, stands at a height of 51 inches and weighs approximately 150 to 170 kg.
