The telugu version of Hanuman was released on ZEE5 some time ago, marking the arrival of the much anticipated day for telugu audiences. Viewers were taken by surprise when the movie was unexpectedly made accessible for streaming. As expected, netizens started to bash the movie on social media for giving over hype.

However, one thing caught the crowd off guard. The telugu version that is now available for streaming on ZEE5 lasts for two hours and thirty minutes, but the version that was shown in theaters lasted for around two hours and forty-eight minutes. Viewers worry if some images have been truncated by the over-the-top (OTT) platform—a practice known as frame rate difference—or if certain portions have been deleted.

The entire two hours and forty-eight minutes of the hindi version, available for streaming on jio cinema, were uploaded to the portal without any edits. The Tamil, Kannada, and malayalam versions were not released on OTT alongside the original version, as we previously mentioned. Even North indians who praised the movie during its release called it a copy of a hollywood movie and bashed it. Some of them said, that as 'Guntur Kaaram' was worse, people had no choice other than making it a HIT.
