Days after Deputy prime minister Ishaq Dar and Pakistan's military media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), attempted to attribute the recent terror attacks to india, it has now been revealed that pakistan employed Chinese drones, fabricated chats, and bogus narratives.
The objective was unmistakable: to conceal the reality of its own internal turmoil and assign blame for the pahalgam terror incident.
An X user posted material on the microblogging site claiming that ISPR attempted to utilize deception and shoddy tactics to fabricate an anti-Indian narrative.
According to the report, pakistan and its agencies panicked after the pahalgam incident and began fabricating evidence to implicate india, including phony screenshots, audio recordings, and even absurd tales.
In a news conference on april 29, Pakistan's DG ISPR Lt. Gen. ahmed Sharif Chaudhry accused india of supporting terrorism within Pakistan. According to the report, Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister of pakistan, reiterated the same allegations the very following day and even asked outside specialists to confirm their purported "evidence."
In his own words, the aforementioned X user outlined several significant issues with Pakistan's assertions and clarified why the whole "evidence" is inconclusive.
Here's what was highlighted: Using a live, operational phone for wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital examination was the first and most significant error in forensics. Using a cloned and inactive device is the rule in wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital forensics to prevent data manipulation. Data integrity is destroyed when an active phone with two SIMs is used, rendering the entire forensic procedure untrustworthy. 'Live device = dead forensic' was the user's mocking expression.
Fake whatsapp recordings: pakistan claimed to have a whatsapp voice call from a year ago and to have captured a terrorist called Majeed on april 25. However, there are two issues here. First, it is highly unlikely that the terrorist had the knowledge to install programs that record whatsapp calls given his poor level of education. Second, ISPR might have set the story by installing malware or spyware on his phone a long time ago.
'Evidence': pakistan also displayed suspicious screenshots of whatsapp conversations. However, it looks as though the screenshots were taken only a minute or two after the messages were delivered. How did ISPR obtain those screenshots prior to Majeed's detention, one would wonder? Were they traveling across time? Additionally, the second individual (the alleged handler) is shown in the chats as being "online" at the moment the screenshots were captured. If the terrorist was planning all of this for ISPR, how is it possible?
Once more, prior to the arrest, a snapshot was grabbed at 3:08 a.m., just seconds after a message was received. 'Was the terrorist gathering evidence himself for ISPR?' the X user teasingly asked.
Chinese drone, not Indian: ISPR also stated that they discovered an Indian-made drone in Majeed's residence. However, the X user discovered that the drone was actually a Chinese DJI model after performing a straightforward google reverse image search.
False money trail: According to pakistan, indian handlers were using Pakistani payment applications to send modest quantities of money in order to evade detection by ISI, the country's espionage agency. However, this assertion is illogical. Why would indian agents transfer funds to terrorists using Pakistani platforms? The simplest method to be caught would be that. It appears that this assertion was made up to mislead people.
There isn't any concrete evidence that indian officers were involved, despite ISPR naming some indian Army commanders as implicated. However, they did not provide any concrete evidence. Not a single indianphone number, call records, internet logs, or any real communication between the defendants and india was displayed.
In a nutshell, pakistan found no genuine conspiracy against itself, according to the X user. Rather, it made a last-ditch effort to fabricate a bogus drama with misleading information and proof.
Ultimately, this is merely another instance of Pakistan's long-standing practice of fabricating tales and pointing the finger at india in order to conceal its own shortcomings. The press conference held at two in the morning following the pahalgam incident was an attempt to deceive the world and was a display of panic rather than urgency.
