Chief minister M.K. stalin has assured that women who were inadvertently left out of the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai (Women’s Entitlement Allowance) scheme will also be provided the benefit once they submit their requests. He made it clear that the government is committed to ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is denied her rightful assistance.
Speaking on the issue, the chief minister stated that the scheme was introduced with the objective of providing financial security and dignity to women heads of families. He acknowledged that during the implementation process, some eligible women may have been excluded due to technical or documentation-related reasons.
Stalin emphasized that such women need not worry, as the government has made provisions to address their grievances. “If those who were left out submit proper applications or requests, they will certainly be included and provided with the women’s entitlement allowance,” he assured.
He further stated that officials have been instructed to handle applications with sensitivity and efficiency, ensuring transparency and fairness in the verification process. The government, he said, remains firm in its resolve to reach every deserving woman and extend the benefits of the scheme without discrimination.
Highlighting the broader vision of the DMK government, the chief minister noted that women’s empowerment is a cornerstone of its governance model. He added that welfare schemes are continuously being reviewed and improved to make them more inclusive and effective.
Concluding his remarks, chief minister M.K. stalin reaffirmed that the government will stand by eligible women and take all necessary steps to ensure that the Women’s Entitlement Allowance reaches every rightful beneficiary across tamil Nadu.
