Amid the growing tension between india and Pakistan, former indian batsman ambati rayudu comes under fire for making a preachy remark. His message was made just minutes after the delhi Capitals vs. punjab Kings game in Dharamsala was canceled. IPL chief Arun Dhumal and bcci vice-president rajeev Shukla both confirmed that the game was halted for security reasons, despite the BCCI's claim that it was called off due to a technical problem.

"Yes, the game has been canceled as a precaution because, I believe, there have been some events in Jammu. We learned that, so we decided it would be prudent to cancel the game," Dhumal stated.

Ambati Rayudu Bashed by fans
Ambati Rayudu chose to post a message on X (previously Twitter) that has not gone over well with many people at a time when the nation is demonstrating unshakable support for the government and the military forces.

The former batsman, who has been mocked by the fans for his commentary throughout this IPL and was previously referred to as a "joker" by Kevin Pietersen, posted on X the following: "An eye for an eye makes the world blind.."

The majority of users did not like the post, as was to be expected, and they did not hesitate to criticize him for it.  In a short period of time, Ambati Rayudu's post's comment box was flooded with hate speech and irate responses.  The post had over 12,000 comments at the time this report was written.
